Non-Toxic Body Care Alternatives
These days, we all know the importance of minimising harsh chemicals, preservatives and cleansers in our body care routines. We understand the needs for organic products that have not been tested on animals.
Often times my patients are wondering how to find the best products for skincare and makeup while they support their bodies for fertility. If you are looking for beauty care recommendations that consider the health of your body and those around you, we have some great alternatives to share with you, so read on!
Make-up Brands
RMS Beauty is a great option for finding make up you will love that won’t cause you harm in the process. In particular, we love their eye liner by Cake. They also have great concealer and facial powder by Uncovered. We also love their illuminizer highlighter.
Juice Beauty is another great option. We have different favourites from Juice Beauty. First, their CC Cream SPF 20 is great. We also love their Anti Wrinkle night cream and eye serum. Try them for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.
Beauty Counter has a few wonderful options. We love their Dew Tint Foundation, Bronzer, Charcoal Mask and Cleansing Balms. We love the long life that we have experienced with the Cleansing Balms and think you will too.
From another great one, Weleda we have a favourite of your eyes. This product called Skin Food is great for under your eyes at night. Also, wonderful for dry skin on the face.
We also love W3ll people. It is a great place for Expressionist Mascara. They also carry Olio and Olsey which makes a great lip balm.
Ilia skin tint is the perfect place to pick up lipsticks. They are Devine.
Nail polish is a tough one. Let’s be real, putting harsh paint on our nail beds isn’t a great idea. But sometimes we just can’t hold back, so for your next topical vacation, pick up some Smith & Cult instead of heading to the nail spa for shellac. We also have a favorite non toxic remover here.
